The date the holidays are celebrated changes depending on the year because Easter is one of several "moveable feasts" in the liturgical year, according to the History Channel. Capital One, Bank of America, CitiBank and JPMorgan Chase, among others, confirmed to USA TODAY branches would be open on Friday.
